It was started with the aim&nbsp; of supporting St. Theresa&#8217;s&nbsp;Primary School serving Kandal village near Ooty,&nbsp;by providing free&nbsp;education and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2006 the old school building was condemned as being structurally unsafe.
