Flip’s Fund is a small, family – run charity established in memory of Philippa Charlotte Gregory. It was started with the aim of supporting St. Theresa’s Primary School serving Kandal village near Ooty, by providing free education and care.
In 2006 the old school building was condemned as being structurally unsafe. Flip’s Fund demolished the building and built a new school on the same footprint.
This was the first completed project.
Flip’s Fund now supports:
- St. Theresa’s Primary School
- Free Teaching of English Language
- St. Joseph’s Teachers’ Training College
- Nirmala Convent Hospital
- St. Anthony’s Industrial Apprenticeship College
We have always promised and continue to promise that:
- all money from your donations goes directly for the benefit of the children
- none is diverted to administration or other running costs which are funded by Flip’s family
- we make very effort to ensure the best possible value for money spent.
The preferred use of any gift may be specified by the donor
